Commissioner Reports 1960–1969

The 1960s marked a period of significant change for the Cleveland Line and Brisbane's south-east bayside suburbs. On 1 November 1960 the Cleveland Line was truncated at Lota as the Redlands entered a dark railwayless age.  Urbanisation had not yet sufficiently accelerated within the boundaries of Redland Shire Council. These reports document the shifting priorities in railway management and the evolving needs of the local communities during this transformative decade.
